Free Wi-Fi messaging onboard Aeroméxico
During my recent trip from Vancouver (YVR) to Mexico City (MEX), I was fortunate to discover that Aeroméxico is offering free Wi-Fi for messaging. This includes WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram y Facebook Messenger.
Personally, I only used WhatsApp and my Instagram Messenger never finished loading. The service is exclusive to sending messages, so if you try to send images, videos, or voice messages, these won’t be loading and sending.
You should know that this service is only available in airplanes with Wi-Fi; in my case, my destination was Merida (MID), and the plane used for that trajectory didn’t include the service.
To connect it’s very easy, you just need to scan the QR code that is in the back of the seat in front of you or in any of the information brochures of the plane y follow the steps indicated on the Aeromexico page that will appear on your device and that’s it!
